Our boots are therefore available in six sizes, from 3 to 8. Plus two of each:
- Models – Standard & L,
- Colours – black and yellow, as well as
- Variants – Summer & Winter.

1 – Determine the form
Swiss Galoppers offers you a choice of two forms:
- The SG Standard model is designed for hooves that are rather rounded with flatter bulbs.
- The flexible SG-L Model for more oval, elongated hooves with higher heels.
TIP: The SG-L Boot which features three connecting pieces of different lengths, can be customised at home using a screwdriver and a bit of skill to achieve the perfect fit.
A. Ask yourself about the form:
Are the hooves rather round with lower balls?
Then the SG Standard could be the best form.
Den SG Standard is available in six sizes, from SG3 to SG8.
We also offer the SG Classic as the Winter Boot version SG-X.It is fitted with six spikes and ensures perfect grip on slippery surfaces. To the SG-X!
Or are the hooves more elongated and oval-shaped, with higher heels?
Then the SG-L could be the better choice.
The SG-L is also available in six sizes, from SG3-L to SG8-L. The ‘L’ stands for ‘Long’ and refers to our extended model.
The SG-L comes with a pre-assembled, bolted connector, plus a shorter connector. We offer these connectors in three lengths, by the way.
With a screwdriver and a bit of skill, you can adjust the footrest yourself to the correct and comfortable height.

2 – Determining the size
1. The width determines the size, ranging from 3 (smallest) to 8 (largest).
2. Length and
3. Heel height determines the model: SG-Standard or SG-L.

3 – Select the season
When should your horse wear its SG?
TIP: You could remove the spikes from the SG-X/LX winter boot in the spring and continue to use it as a summer boot. Please note, however, that the spikes cannot be safely refitted and secured for the following winter.
4 – Choose the Colour
We offer both the SG Classic and the SG-L in two colours each: black and lemon.
The LEMON model also enhances residual light, making it easier to see at dusk and in poor visibility conditions. The SG-L Lemon is therefore the ideal hoof boot for all year round.
